About Us
A veteran-owned dog care facility in San Antonio, Texas, built for happy dogs.
We believe dogs do best with room to play, a cool air-conditioned building, outdoor play areas, and people who know them by name.
Paws and Stripes Ranch is a veteran-owned dog boarding and daycare facility in San Antonio, opened in October 2026. We grew out of years of rescue work with Paws For Big Hearts Rescue — after caring for so many dogs, we know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone new. So we built the kind of care we'd want for our own dogs: time to play, personal attention, and a stay that fits each dog's needs.
Our facility is large and open, fully air-conditioned, with big outdoor play areas out back — a place where dogs can run, sniff, play, and then settle down for a good rest. Today we offer overnight boarding and daycare. Training and grooming are on the way, so we'll grow into a full home for your dog's needs — all in one place.
Fresh air first
Our days are built around play — big outdoor yards, plus cool A/C inside.
Dogs treated like family
We keep our groups small on purpose. Your dog is a guest, not a number.
Rest matters too
Big days are balanced with calm, comfortable breaks — and cozy nights.
